The Pat and Diana Priestner Family, Kelowna Toyota, and all CanadaOne Cares Dealerships, are dedicated to making a meaningful, lasting difference through thoughtful charitable giving. By supporting the needs of our communities we're building more than a company; we're building a legacy of care and commitment.
Kelowna Toyota Cares
We're Proud to Support
Supporting the 9th Annual B Mack & Karly's Cold Weather Clothing Drive
Kelowna Toyota is proud to support the 9th Annual B Mack & Karly’s Cold Weather Clothing Drive, helping the Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society keep our city’s most vulnerable safe and cared for during the coldest months.
For the past seven years, your generosity has made a real impact — warming not just the streets of Kelowna, but hearts too. Let’s make this year another success and help ensure everyone has warmth and comfort during these chilly nights.
Kelowna Santas Wrap Party!
Kelowna Santas once again showed what’s possible when a community comes together with heart and purpose. This year, more than 700 local children received Christmas gifts - helping bring joy, comfort, and holiday magic to families who needed it most.
We were honoured to serve as the Wrap Party “North Pole” and to support this initiative alongside so many dedicated volunteers, donors, and community partners. Watching our showroom fill with generosity, laughter, and kindness was a powerful reminder that the holidays are about more than gifts, they’re about caring for one another.
To everyone who volunteered, donated, or supported Kelowna Santas in any way: thank you. Your compassion helped ensure that no child in our community went without this Christmas, and that impact will be felt far beyond the holiday season.
From all of us at Kelowna Toyota, we wish you and your loved ones a safe, joyful, and meaningful Christmas.
Kelowna Toyota Supports the 8th Annual Holiday Food Drive
We are incredibly proud to have participated in the 8th Annual Holiday Food Drive in support of the Central Okanagan Food Bank.
On November 7th, alongside Kelowna Chevrolet, Save-On-Foods, Beach Radio 103.1, OV 103.9, The Lizard 104.7, and Kelowna 10, we came together with one shared goal: supporting families in our community who are facing food insecurity during the holiday season.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, over $60,000 was raised to help ensure local families can gather around a warm meal this Christmas. As we enter the final weeks before the holidays, initiatives like this are more important than ever. Food security is not just about meals — it’s about dignity, stability, and care for our neighbours.
We are deeply grateful to the Central Okanagan Food Bank team, our media partners, volunteers, and everyone who donated or participated. It is moments like these that truly show the power of community collaboration and compassion.
A Legacy of Care and Compassion
In the demanding world of retail automotive, mental health often takes a back seat. The challenges faced by dealership teams, especially during the pandemic, highlighted the critical need for support and understanding.
Pat Priestner, our founder, recognized this need and turned his personal reflections into action. Originally written as a heartfelt memoir for his children and grandchildren, Notes for the Children shares Pat's journey of overcoming personal and professional challenges while prioritizing mental well-being. Drawing from over 50 years in the retail automotive industry, he candidly addresses his struggles, lessons learned, and the practices that helped him navigate life's ups and downs.
Today, Pat visits our dealerships to share these experiences firsthand, fostering conversations around mental health and personal growth. His book is a blend of personal stories and practical advice—a testament to the transformative power of small, meaningful changes.
All proceeds from Notes for the Children will go to charities that support well-being across Canada, helping to extend the impact of his message beyond our organization.
