Sport Mode button

Embrace your sporty side. The available Sport Mode button on the center console of Yaris iA allows you to enable Sport Mode, which adjusts the engine control unit and shift points to give a sportier feel to your drive.

Manual shift mode

Release your inner driver. When equipped with an automatic transmission, Yaris iA features a unique manual shift mode. To engage manual shift mode, just nudge the gear selector into place. Once there, pull back to upshift, and push forward to downshift—you know, like a racecar. This mode gives you more control, too, helping you get up those hills without breaking a sweat.

60/40 split fold-down seats

Active Safety System

Yaris iA comes standard with an advanced Active Safety System that includes Dynamic Stability Control (DSC),¹ Traction Control System (TCS), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA)² and Brake Over-ride System (BOS).³

Low-Speed Pre-Collision System

The standard Low-Speed Pre-Collision System⁴ scans the road ahead for potential vehicle collisions. If the system detects a potential frontal collision, an audio/visual alert and braking assistance are automatically activated. Should the driver not respond, this system may automatically apply the brakes.

TPMS

The advanced Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) ⁵ comes standard on every Yaris iA. Designed to monitor the tire pressure at all times, it alerts the driver when tire pressure gets critically low.

LATCH

To help protect smaller family members, every Yaris iA comes equipped with a LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) restraint system. With lower anchors on outboard rear seats and tether anchors on all rear seats, you can make sure child safety seats are securely attached to help keep younger passengers safe.
